A company that produces and markets hydroponically-grown tomatoes under the “Tomate de Artajona – Reyno Gourmet” brand. Its takes advantage of surplus hot water and the heat generated by the purine-based cogeneration plant in Artajona that belongs to Ecoenergía Navarra, S.L., achieving an environmentally sustainable unit that provides a solution to the treatment of purines for pig farms.
It was the first R&D+i project of its type thanks to its innovative nature, producing dry fertiliser, energy and clean distilled water. The surplus heat from the cogeneration process is used to grow tomatoes hydroponically (i.e. without soil) in greenhouses.
Ecoenergía Sistemas Alternativos
This company promotes R&D+i in the agrifood and environmental sectors. It was set up to generate technological development in the waste treatment and organic sub-products sector and to make use of residual heat.
It promotes R&D+I activity in the national agrifood and environment programme, disseminating the culture of cooperation among stakeholders in the science-technology-company system and fostering the development and use of new technologies in line with the criteria of the Law on Integrated Prevention and Control of Pollution.

Pamplona Learning Spanish Institute
Pamplona Learning Spanish Institute is a specialised Spanish language learning centre in Pamplona. It was born of the collaboration between Clen College / IH Pamplona, a school with over fifteen years’ experience in language training, the Government of Navarra – which has a strong interest in the promotion of Navarra as a place to learn Spanish – and the General Manager of High Schools International, which has extensive experience in the field of study travel.
Since its founding in 1999, when Sodena also took part in its shareholder structure, it has developed the following lines of activity: Outsourcing / maintenance of the factories of ALTADIS; the rework and sale of cigarette machines, and the manufacture and sale of spare parts for cigarette-making machines.
