SODENA always invests with a minority participation, usually between a minimum of 5% and a maximum of 45%. Our presence, which is always agreed for a certain period of time, is for a maximum of 10 years, unless the project in question is of strategic interest for Navarre.

The following phases can be differentiated in the management of SODENA projects:

Initial and development

The first contact and capture of the project is a critical factor for success, because the objectives of SODENA must always be followed.

After the acceptance of a project, which should be approved by the Investment Committee, SODENA assigns one of its experts to monitor the project.

The main point of reference in the assessment of the business project will be its overall profitability.

The quality of the developer, and its assessment in this initial phase, is considered a critical success factor for the project.

The analysis of the Business Plan will include:

The activities to be carried out
Market survey
Study of the sector
Human resources plan - management team
Financial and economic analysis
Timescale for the Plan
D.A.F.O. Analysis

Once the main and complementary agreements have been reached with the developer, SODENA prepares an investment proposal for approval by the Investment Committee and, later, by the Board of Directors.

See diagram for this phase

Instrumentalisation and monitoring of the investment

Once a proposal is approved by the Board of Directors, the project becomes an investment which is subject to a series of monitoring activities, so that its management can carried out according to "best practice" criteria.

See diagram for this phase

Exit

SODENA's disinvestment is specified and agreed at the time of participation, and always following a report to its Investment Committee and the Board of Directors.
