Over 40,000 people visited the Senda Viva theme park in the 78 days it was open to the public in 2005 (from June 4th October 30th). Of this figure, 40% were from Navarre, with the other 60% from Aragon (20%), the Basque Country (28%), La Rioja (14%), and other regions (6%).
In recent months work has been done on the theme park at a cost of 3 million euros, aimed at improving visitor comfort, extending attractions, creating routes and transport systems or urbanising a number of areas.
Next season the aim is to present a wide variety of new attractions.
Apart from the attractions of the park itself, Senda Viva has over 500 animals, of which 80 – of twelve different species- were born during the 2005 season: two zebras, three tigers, two calves, twelve pigs, three goats, three wallabies, eleven boar, two deer, a bat, a Spanish ibex, 20 guinea pigs and 20 latxa lambs. |
