Openbravo has developed an enterprise management system (commonly known as an ERP) for small and midsize enterprises (SMEs). The program is web-based and distributed as open source software.
Founded in 2001, Openbravo (formally Tecnicia) has successfully implemented its application in a variety of Navarra-based business sectors ranging from distribution and services to manufacturing.
As a result of Sodena's investment, Openbravo now has the objective to market its product internationally, and consolidate its business model to offer professional support to technological partners; these same partners who implement Openbravo's ERP in SMEs around the world.
Openbravo will collaborate with the growing open source community to facilitate its adaptation to both the specific requirements of each country as well as to necessities of unique business sectors. Thus, collaborators can work together on endeavors important to them and which will benefit their communities.
