In just five years, MTS Tobacco, S.A. has become the second company in the world in the development and manufacture of new machines for manufacturing cigarettes, with a presence in over 48 countries. SODENA (20%) participates together with Altadis (40%) and Metisa (40%) in this company, whose head offices are located in Pamplona (in a building covering 14,000 square metres).
Created in 1998, it has a number of production plants located in Pamplona, Logroņo, Alicante and Paraguay (Ciudad del Este), with projects for installation in South Africa, Cuba and Indonesia in the short and medium term.
