Foro Europeo was created in 1992 thanks to the initiative of a group of entrepreneurs from Navarre who detected a series of training-related needs. Foro Europeo, which started life as a Business School, has become a Business Campus in the form of a project that links training and the business world through different centres and researchers.
In the summer of 2004, new premises covering 5,000m2 were inaugurated on the banks of the river Arga in Huarte, a town located near the city of Pamplona. In the Campus the idea is to implement a training project for companies called “Corporate universities”. Based on this approach of involving businesses, our shareholder structure includes the official body SODENA, around twenty companies, and teachers and managers from the school itself.
The investment in the 5,000 square-metre building was 4.2 million euros, for which an extension of capital of 1.95 million euros was required.
On April 5th 2003 Foro Europeo and the Sociedad Municipal de Gestión Urbanística of the Municipal Council of Huarte –Areacea- signed an agreement whereby the Business School was granted 6,200m2 of land in exchange for the participation of the Municipal Council of Huarte with 2% of the share capital of the company.
