The President of the Government of Navarre, Miguel Sanz Sesma, has expressed his approval regarding the recent sale of the public participation (SODENA and Corporación Industrial Caja Navarra) in EHN to ACCIONA, considering that the decision is based on the conviction that it was positive for the general interest of Navarre.

Last 11 October the "Izquierda Unida of Navarre- Nafarroako Ezker Batua" Parliamentary Group, through its spokesperson, requested the presence of the Director-General of SODENA to report on "the Government's position on the possible sale of SODENA's participation in EHN to ACCIONA, and the price, conditions and agreements included in this operation".

Navarre has the "best mark" of all the Spanish regions in social welfare indicators, according to a study by La Caixa. The region obtained the highest score (10) in the areas of income, health services, education, employment, housing and household equipment and fittings. |

The Government of Navarre and the State of Sonora (Mexico) have signed a cooperation agreement for economic and social development. Both administrations will prepare a strategic action plan based on the competitive advantages offered by both territories. The agreement was signed by the Regional Minister of Industry and Technology, Commerce and Employment and President of SODENA, José Javier Armendáriz Quel, and Raimundo García de León, Secretary for Development and Productivity of the Government of Sonora (Mexico) and Executive President of the Council for the Economic Development of Sonora (Copresón).

Tutti Pasta, S.A. Founded in 1987, the company has carried out a number of R&D+ projects in collaboration with the Government of Navarre and the Spanish Ministry of Science and Technology. Its turnover in 2003 was 3.2 million euros, and in 2008 sales will reach 12 million euros. Its new "Pasta Ricci" brand is exclusively aimed at the food production sector, and the company will maintain the "Tutti Pasta" for the hotel and catering sector.
